Dads, we don’t want you to miss out on all the fun, so we’ve constructed a course just for you and baby to spend quality time together
Without Dads encouragement and teaching very few of us would have learned to ride bicycles, climb trees (!) or make calculated assessments of risk. We firmly believe that dad's parenting style is equally as important to our children's development as mum's nurturing approach to parenting
We've found that through our Dads classes, mum's feel more supported, dad's feel more 'involved' and bonded with their children, mum's and dad's have a new-found appreciation of each other's parenting styles and have more family outings with other class buddies and like-minded parents!
Mum's can relax with confidence, knowing dad has been shown safe rough and tumble games and activities that also help stimulate baby and infant senses, reflexes and balance. These classes are taught by dads for dads and include circuit training activities to help maintain dads health and fitness - after all, our babies are not going to get any lighter!
Currently regular classes are held on Sunday's 10 - 11am - join our forum so you are updated as soon as those classes start (please keep me updated of new classes and events). The group meets in Peterborough city centre on Sundays in semi-private settings with free parking
Simply Kidz categorises Dads classes into 2 distinct stages (ages are approximate as each baby develops different skills at different times) :
Non-Mobile (birth - 18 months)
Mobile (12 - 24 months)
